Light BioScience®, LLC is the leader in the science of Light-Emitting Diodes (LED) Photomodulation®, a groundbreaking light-based technology for medical and esthetic applications. Its flagship product, the GentleWaves® LED Photomodulation® System, provides a safe and effective nonablative solution to photoaging. This non-thermal, non-invasive technology uses low intensity LEDs at specially calibrated energies to reduce the visible signs of aging and sun-damaged skin. The company is actively researching other applications of the unique GentleWaves® platform technology, including treatment protocols to improve acne, thinning hair and cellulite. Based in Virginia Beach, VA, Light BioScience® was founded in 2002 and now has more than 14 issued patents and 68 pending in the U.S. and worldwide.
